A Letter to My Followers

Hello Followers,
I know there are only a few of you out there right now, but I would like to share with you my thoughts on this blog and ask for your feedback.  I am definitely passionate about food and the hospitality industry, but currently am not actually working in the field.  This blog is a way for me to talk about food and allow myself to use my passion in a positive way.  However, I am still trying to figure out my goals as far as where I would like to take the blog.  For those of you who have been reading.  What do you think?  Do you enjoy reading my blog? Do you get bored easily? Are there certain things that you wish I would explain further? Should I stick with the theme of what I had for dinner or do you think I should head in a different direction?  Please let me know your thoughts.  I will consider both constructive criticism and positive responses.

Thanks,
Natalie

  1. Running a blog in this theme requires a lot of work and dedication. There is another one i follow which is using your format (http://www.katheats.com/) and she's very good at showing what she's doing each and every day. Some ideas:

    1. Don't be afraid if it's left overs or isn't very good, take that picture and describe it.
    2. If you made it, and feel like it, share out the recipe (as you have done with the pizza)
    3. Get creative with your presentation and photography
    4. If it's an external meal, describe the place you want maybe in some kind of review manner.

    Hope those ideas help!

  2. Pictures tell a great story. Another example to follow is here http://www.browneyedbaker.com/2011/08/16/pepperoni-pizza

Her pictures make my mouth water for that crispy pepperoni and melted cheese. =p
